Organisational Benefits
Under Queensland psychosocial legislation, employers have a duty to identify and manage psychosocial hazards such as bullying, excessive workload and workplace stress. Exclusions
• It is not an emergency psychological or crisis response service
• It does not replace 24 hour crisis services or hospital based care
• Out of hours sessions are not routinely available unless pre arranged
• It is not long term psychotherapy or ongoing treatment
• It does not provide medico legal assessments, court reports or fitness for work reports
• It does not replace workers compensation psychological services
• It does not provide psychiatric assessment or medication management
• It is not a substitute for internal HR processes, disciplinary action or performance management
• It does not provide couples therapy funded by the employer

Important Safety Information
If an employee is at immediate risk or experiencing a crisis, they will be directed to appropriate emergency or crisis services.
